SUMMER
“It’s the most magical place in Mississippi! It’s a great place to bring your kids to learn about Jesus.” Grey Williams
CAMP COPIAH
We are excited to announce the addition of Camp Copiah for Summer 2020! Camp Copiah is a Day Camp experience for campers entering grades 1-6. This camp is designed to impact our local community surrounding Camp Wesley Pines, as well as to provide an introductory camp experience to our youngest campers. Campers will arrive each morning and return home in the afternoon.
OUTPOST CAMP
Outpost Camp is our most rustic and adventurous camp! For middle and high schoolers who are seeking a challenging camp experience, campers will stay each night in hammocks under our Outpost pavilions across the lake. Campers leave from and return to Outpost by canoeing across Lake Copiah, and they will have the opportunity to participate in all traditional camp activities.
PULSE CAMP
Pulse Mission Camp is a specialized camp for middle and high schoolers. Campers will have the opportunity to be a part of a team and work on any number of local mission projects in our local Copiah County. The purpose of Pulse is to equip young leaders by providing opportunities for them to serve. Youth groups from around the state as well as individuals are encouraged to attend!
CABIN-SIDE CAMP
Our traditional camps consist of Younger Elementary (YE), Older Elementary (OE), and Junior High (JH) camps. Campers stay overnight in one of our 12 cabins with their counselor and up 5 other campers to maintain a 6:1 camper to counselor ratio. Traditional camp activities include Archery, Arts & Crafts, Canoeing, Daily Devotions, Field Games, Zip Line, and much more!
Every summer, thousands of campers enter the gates of Camp Lake Stephens eager to experience fun and fellowship in the midst of God’s beautiful Creation. While at camp, it is our hope and intent that campers grow deeper in their Christian faith, learn healthy practices in team work and social interaction, and gain self confidence through discovery and celebration of their individual gifts and abilities. With camps offered for children and youth finishing grades K-12, we believe that an amazing experience awaits each camper who makes Camp Lake Stephens their home. Parents or guardians can find more information regarding camp and scholarships at our Parent Information page.
